So this evening there was a total lunar eclipse! For a while the moon went a blood red colour! Well it did somewhere I suppose, but unfortunately for anyone living in Plymouth it was as exciting and visible as the solar eclipse of 1999! We got cloud and that was about it! There was a brief moment when the sun burst through the clouds as it was setting and for a short time it looked the sky was on fire. Directly opposite the sunset there was a cloud cover but every now and again a chink of red appeared. As I looked out to sea there was a strange glow in the sky which looked multi-coloured at times but no moon!
