Mixed day in the football today. In the Premier League Robin Van Persie scored a hat trick to give Arsenal a 3-0 win over Wigan. The result may have been good for Arsenal and keeps them in the top three, but for Wigan it puts them well in the relegation battle.
In League One it was a different story for Argyle who were playing away at Charlton. For the first half Argyle held their own, but it was not hard to do as there was not much action for either team. Charlton came out for the second half the better team and eventually scored twice to give them a 2-0 win. The result means that Argyle now drop back to 15th.
Last night I managed to win a staggering £4.70 in the Euromillions which went towards paying for tonight's Lottery ticket. I managed to get 4 numbers tonight but sadly on different lines! Oh well, there is always Wednesday.
