Sunday January 30th

Another very lazy Sunday for me today. Did not move very far away from the TV and laptop even though it was a fairly nice day out. The trouble was that this morning Andy Murray was playing in the Australian Open and that was shown live on BBC. in the end Murray was outplayed by Novak Djokovic

Then Arsenal were playing Huddersfield in the FA Cup 4th Round which I listened to on the radio and then watched the highlights a little later. Arsenal won 2-1 but after having a player sent off towards the end of the first half and Huddersfield playing really well it could have gone to a draw which would have been what Huddersfield deserved.

After the Sunday roast, which today was pork with the usual vegetables, I watched the match between Notts County and Manchester City which ended in a draw. By the time that ended and the draw for the 5th Round was made I knew that not many places would be open so I stayed in.

I got frustrated with my dad's computer as it is about 10 years old and runs very slow. My brother had sent letters over from Brazil that needed to be printed and to print off two letters and one photo it took over an hour! He really needs to get a new one! Then I tried to find them travel insurance and as they are both elderly the cheapest I have found so far is £575.00 for the two.

This evening I have been watching non-stop programmes set in Ireland. Terry Wogan's Ireland on BBC One followed by the film P.S. I Love You on Channel Four and then very later Father Ted! There is also a film on ITV tonight telling the story behind Bloody Sunday which happens to be the anniversary today.

Saturday January 29th

I note as I come to write today's blog entry that 1000 visitors have logged in to read what has been happening with me in my fight for justice against a corrupt family law system. That follows on from the 4000 plus that followed my 78 day hunger strike. I know some of you have followed from the start since September 2010 and I thank you for doing so.

How many times have we all heard "If only?" Too often I would guess. Today was a day full of "If only!" Then again for me my life has been full of "If only!" If only I had done a lot of things in my life. Or if only others had done or not done some of the things they did.

So it was today at Argyle. The fact is that Argyle lost at home to Bournemouth 1-2 and that result keeps Argyle in 15th spot in the league and still that elusive couple of decent results away from the play off spots. The game was probably one of the best I have seen all season and how Argyle did not at least get a draw I will never know. For the majority of the match Argyle outplayed Bournemouth. Argyle actually had 23 attempts at goal compared to Bournemouth's 8!

I am not sure if it was just the whole rollercoaster of the past week with court and watching as my ex sat there laughing and the lying troll from crapcass sitting there smug and cocky as she does, but after all the chances Argyle had and missed, when they eventually scored and Fallon came over to the corner I was sitting in to celebrate I actually started to cry.

Off the pitch, according to the local paper money should be on it's way from the investors which has so far not materialised. We live in hope! There seemed to be more fans there today than have been turning up lately which is a good sign and hopefully although it was not the extra 10,000 fans that the supporter's trust had hoped, the 8,000 plus who did turn up made it double the number that have been. Even the Bournemouth fans came in larger numbers than other away fans this season.

When I got back from the match I cooked my parents and myself a nice juicy steak with the usual trimmings and I had bought a banoffee pie for dessert but put it in the freezer instead of the fridge so that will have to do tomorrow! I ended up making semolina pudding and eating it all to myself whilst I watched the National Lottery being drawn on TV. No win again for me! Oh well better luck next time.

The rest of the evening has just been spent on Facebook, watching TV and trying to find holiday insurance for my parents, who intend to visit my brother and his family who live in Brazil where they work for The Salvation Army. On the subject of The Salvation Army, I see that the current leader General Shaw Clifton is retiring and a new General is being selected this week. I know this because my mother has been pestering me to look at the website every day looking for news!

Friday January 28th

As I write this I am waiting for the results of the Euromillions draw. I missed it on TV as I was watching the film Scary Movie on another channel. I walked into the City centre today and noticed yet again how quiet it was. It has been a week since I got my glasses and today my mother had to go in to get a new pair for herself. I could not stop laughing as she had to pay almost three times as much as I did and she is supposed to get more help than I do with hers.

There is one or possibly two of my Facebook friends who are intent on stirring up some trouble and reporting to someone in particular about my activities. Sadly they assume that what they see on one particular application there is justification to go telling my business to others! All the applications does is send a golden heart to people and what is so stupid is the fact that my friends on there get sent the same heart between them. Today's for instance may have been "SWEET" or "KISS" or something else. The fact is that those who send me hearts and are on my friend list get exactly the same one. Other people who are not friends and I have no idea who they are usually get a "HELLO" or one identical to the one they send me. Does that make sense to anyone?

Plymouth Argyle have a home game tomorrow against Bournemouth but as I told one of the guys in the coffee shop, I am dreading going. It is starting to look very bleak for the club despite recent selling of some decent star players, such as Bradley Wright-Phillips to Charlton. The financial situation was reported as being close to being sorted but over the past few days it emerges that there are more problems that have been uncovered or were not fully divulged to us supporters. As it is now it looks like a few more players will need to be sold off to get more money and even then it does not guarantee the club's survival until the end of the season in May. I think it is time to start treating each game as if it was the last! A Supporter's Trust has been set up and they are asking for a minimum of 10,000 extra fans to turn up for each home game till the end of the season. pretty hard when you think that this year we have seen games where the number in attendance has been just over 4,000. It does not look good.

I had an email from my solicitor which brought a mixture of news. More on that will follow next week I guess. For now though I am maintaining a lower than normal profile and unless something really stands out that needs to be brought to the world's attention I anticipate the posts for the next few days to be fairly brief.

Thursday January 27th

Today I saw this on a friend's status on Facebook. I just had to put it on here! FOR ALL TO SEE! Maybe it will stick in certain people's throats! I am reminded about something that my eldest daughter told me once when I asked her why she did not want to sing in a concert at her Sunday School. Her answer cut me like a knife in my chest...."Mummy says I cannot sing because I sing through my nose!" I should have replied "That's OK! Your mother talks out of her arse!" Just for the record, my daughter has a fantastic voice and is also an exceptional dancer who even makes up her own routines in front of the TV!

Maybe CRAPCASS could adopt this as their framework and guidelines too!

There is also a post on Facebook that takes people to a page "Any dick can make a baby but it takes a real man to be a dad!" I am so tempted to make a new one myself!  "Most C@@@S can give birth but it takes a real woman to be a mum!" Guess that counts a few out then!

Sticking to sexism! I am getting a bit pissed off with the long running saga about Andy Gray and Richard Keys following their comments on SkySports at the weekend. Even now Thursday evening, the debate spilled over into Question Time on the BBC! Come on people. get over it already. They were wrong and they have both lost their jobs now move on! I don't see anyone telling Jo Brand to quit with her sexist jokes so let's get a grip! There are far more important issues to consider in the world.

Wednesday January 26th

Today I walked in to get my coffee and on the way had a phone call from mum who was sitting in the place I go and wanted to meet me. To say I have not been in the best of moods since Monday would be a gross understatement. I even ended up sending my solicitor an email and started to vent. Could have gone on ranting all afternoon and making things a lot worse but decided to just send and wait! What is really getting to me is the fact that I know I am being made a fool of by that twat from crapcass and my ex. The fact is that I know both have been lying through their teeth. I feel so angry and frustrated that a judge has not been able to see through their shit yet. After two years of it I would have thought that by now the lies would have stopped and like my ex said last year, "It is time to do what is best for the children and stop this fighting and blaming each other!" The thing is, that she knows I know when she is lying because she has that silly fake laugh in her voice and then turns a deep red colour. The deep red colour that she turned when her barrister started talking on Monday morning!

I read on the BBC news website that a Scottish MP has been jailed for three years for perjury! I'm just saying. Don't want to see the ex behind bars. All I want is the girls to have the benefit of both parents! As for the lying twat from crapcass, jail would not be enough

Away from me I read today of a man who shot himself in a park in Luton. Apparently he too was fighting a custody battle over his children. Although there are conflicting stories surrounding his case, I cannot help but think of the many other parents who have killed themselves and in some very extreme cases their children too, all because of their frustration with the family law system. What is wrong with this world when people are driven to such extremes by a system that is supposed to be in place to help them. The whole fucking world has gone mad. Talk about lunatics taking over the asylum. Most of them are in positions that will affect the lives of families!

This story was brushed over in the media, unless of course you lived in the immediate area where this man was. What made the news headlines in place of this upsetting story? Andy Gray sacked from Skysports and Richard Keys resigning because of their off-air comments relating to a female assistant referee at the weekend! Whole debate on sexism in football has been running since then. Don't get me started on the issues of sexism! There is enough sexism and corruption in the family law system.

Still in the world of football Arsenal have their opponents in the Carling Cup Final. The Match between Birmingham and West Ham ended in stalemate after West Ham took the lead to make it 3-1 on aggregate and looked like they would be booking their place in the final, However, the match went into Extra-time after the 90 minutes saw Birmingham score 3 times to end it in a 3-3 draw. In the first period of extra-time Birmingham struck to make it 3-1 on the night and 4-3 on aggregate.

Tuesday January 25th

On my way back from court yesterday I stopped off at Marks & Spencer and bought two haggis. It is Burns' Night tonight and as my grandmother on my mother's side was a Scot I decided to make haggis, neeps and tatties for mum, dad and me. I know the ingredients of a haggis are not to everyone's liking but to me they are not that bad. Sheep's stomach, oatmeal, lamb's heart and lungs etc. actually if you mash it all up and don't think about it, it is very similar to a Shepherd's Pie really! I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Tonight was the Carling Cup Semi-final second leg between Arsenal and Ipswich with Ipswich bringing a 1-0 win to The Emirate's Stadium. For the majority of the first half Arsenal dominated the game, but did not manage to score. Watching Arshavin play, am I the only Arsenal fan that thinks he is rubbish? In the end Arsenal won fairly comfortably 3-0 and take one step closer to a possible quadruple of trophies this season! Yes I still believe Arsenal will (or at least can) win them all! The other Carling Cup semi-final sees West Ham away to Birmingham tomorrow evening. If West Ham win then it will mean my team will meet my brother and nephew's team in the final at Wembley. Nothing like a bit of family rivalry I say.

My second team, Plymouth Argyle, must surely be a bit closer to financial stability this evening after selling Bradley Wright-Phillips to League One rivals Charlton.

Monday January 24th

So today I arrived at court at 09:30. I saw the lying troll from Cafcass and just turned around and went back through the swing doors to wait for my team to arrive. I waited and waited and although I was by the main entrance I did not see the ex arrive. Then again according to my barrister she was in a little side room because she was "afraid" of me! Those were his words that he had been given, no doubt by her team. She was "AFRAID" of me! If ever there was an award for twat of the year there would surely be a dead heat! Dawn Bishop for her blatant bullying of the ex and lying in her report continually, the ex's legal team - Nash & Co for apparently coercing her to change to her statement and position and of course the ex herself for her complete acting abilities. Yes she was so "Afraid" of me that she sat in court and LAUGHED! Then again I guess given that she threw my daughter across the bedroom just over two years ago in front of a witness on webcam, later assaulted me in front of the children and again witnessed on webcam, broke my mother's rib, stole money from my mother and me and had me arrested for "assaulting" her after she beat me up, she has cause to be afraid of me!

To be honest it did not surprise me how this would go today. They want to see a letter from my GP to say I was no longer on hunger strike!! The fact that if I were still on it I would be dead by now and that the GP was never involved during my 78 days of non-eating seems to have slipped everyone's notice! The fact that I now weigh almost as much as I did before I started and ended my 78 day hunger strike! The fact that it was said the children would be upset to see my think looks and yet my ex had apparently lost vast amounts of weight and they were not scared of her (although she has really put it all back on now!) The fact that I now have to wait until 2nd February to ask my GP to write a letter about something he had no knowledge of seems to have bypassed everyone.

Then to top it all. The judge herself stated that the case should be heard by Judge Tysack who himself told the last hearing that he did not see the need for him to hear the case as it was clearly a case for the judge we ended up before today! FFS I think these judges could actually make it as Premier League referees as neither seem to have any consistency! It seems more like a case of Pilate washing his hands of the case and passing the buck! I just want consistency and a fucking decision so I and my children can start getting on with our lives again. By the time it comes to court again it will be two years since the ex and I split up and she started this "Rollercoaster ride" that she "did not want to be on but that others were not letting her get off!" Now if that were me, and I was being pressured into making decisions that affected my children and myself I would stand up and take control back and tell those who were bullying me that they act under my instructions not make them up for me!

Oh well we now have to wait for a few weeks and then spend two whole days in court to discuss a hearing that should not have got this far! I am also pissed off that according to the court today I have never made an application for joint residence??? Don't know what the fuck I have been fighting for over the past two years and was discussed at great length in previous hearings! What is even more amazing is the fact that it was my ex who was the one who seemed so convinced that she wanted shared residence prior to August 2010! Don't take my word for it though read her psych report! Oh wait if I put that on here then I am in contempt of court and I would have to appear before an open court and the whole truth exposing the lies of Dawn Bishop and my ex and her legal team from Nash & Co would be out in the open and even reporters would be able to report on the story! Maybe if I wait till we see what happens in February before I risk that I will not have to expose the lies and corruption.

Just a thought here but if I were to publish court papers and be held in contempt and brought to open court, if the findings of that trial then show that my ex and the Cafcass worker have in fact committed perjury would that open up a whole new can of worms and lead to another trial in open court for my ex and Dawn Bishop?  As I read with interest what perjury entails....

Just saying!

Sunday January 23rd

Another glorious day here in Plymouth. Spent the majority of the morning and afternoon in my bed though. I got up to sort my washing out and then just spent the time on Facebook. Later in the afternoon I went for my daily coffee. Not sure what it is but there has been a little difference in the service at the place I usually go to but I have to admit the coffee is the best I have tasted here in Plymouth so will see how it goes for the next few weeks. There is always the other branch I could go to which is in one of the department stores.

Among some of the stories you may have missed in the news today is the story that scientists plan to put a mobile phone into space! So E.T. really could phone home!

Court tomorrow so this is a brief entry tonight. Not sure how it is going to go to be honest, but if I go there thinking of the worse case scenario then if anything good happens it will be a bonus!

Saturday January 22nd

Mixed day in the football today. In the Premier League Robin Van Persie scored a hat trick to give Arsenal a 3-0 win over Wigan. The result may have been good for Arsenal and keeps them in the top three, but for Wigan it puts them well in the relegation battle.
In League One it was a different story for Argyle who were playing away at Charlton. For the first half Argyle held their own, but it was not hard to do as there was not much action for either team. Charlton came out for the second half the better team and eventually scored twice to give them a 2-0 win. The result means that Argyle now drop back to 15th.

Last night I managed to win a staggering £4.70 in the Euromillions which went towards paying for tonight's Lottery ticket. I managed to get 4 numbers tonight but sadly on different lines! Oh well, there is always Wednesday.

Friday January 21st January

Old age has finally caught up on me. Today I collected my glasses. I have to say, as soon as I put them on I noticed a big difference in reading things. As I only need them to read it was really strange looking through them and seeing things in a distance being blurry! As it happens though I feel more comfortable wearing them than I thought I would.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous again. Although there were clear signs that winter was still with us, on The Hoe it was sunny and fairly spring like. There were quite a few people walking around The Hoe and The Barbican areas. Whilst in the City centre itself it is still fairly quiet.

The big news today is the re-appearance of Tony Blair at the Chilcot Inquiry. During his grilling by those on the inquiry panel Mr Blair said that he "regrets deeply and profoundly the loss of life" during and after the 2003 war with Iraq. Fortunately for Mr Blair his appearance at the inquiry was demoted in the news because of other events taking place in and around the Houses of Parliament.

Thursday January 20th

Weighed myself this morning and I am almost back to the weight I was prior to my hunger strike. I know the Festive period has helped me to add the pounds back on but with the walking and the cutting down of chocolate I feel healthier now than I have in the past three or four years. I know there are still some outstanding issues with the GP that I need to get results for and there is a definite sign of ageing with the fact that I collect my glasses tomorrow. My hearing has been deteriorating for years too and I often have periods when people talk to me but it is like listening through ear defenders. The hearing does not surprise me really as I have always known it was getting worse, and is mainly due to working in front of loud speakers when I was singing or running a karaoke.

Wednesday January 19th

Another quiet day for me today. I ended up meeting mum and dad in Cafe Nero's for coffee at lunch time and then walked around in and out of shops. I then came home and found the post waiting. There was a letter from the twat at Cafcass to my mother. The contents of which contradict everything she says! So I took a copy of it and run it down to my solicitor for him to look through and decide if there is any tasty morsel to be picked from it and used on Monday in court.

I had to buy a new mouse for the laptop, actually I need a new laptop but that will have to wait till later in the year unless of course I win big on the lottery. While I was out I came across a betting office that was offering a bet on the score of the football tonight.

When I got back home I settled down to watch the FA CUP match between Leeds and Arsenal which was being shown live on ITV. Leeds put up a good fight but in the end Arsenal were just a bit too classy for them and ended up winning 1-3. Both Arsenal's Sagna and Leeds' Johnson could have scored contenders for goal of the month and to be fair to Leeds they deserved their goal if not more. However, Arsenal turned up the heat and with Fabregas and Van Persie coming off the bench it spelled the end for Leeds when Van Persie scored Arsenal's 3rd goal minutes from the end. Arsenal now face Huddersfield at the Emirates on January 29th. If only I had listened to myself and placed the bet I had in mind. I predicted 1-3 Arsenal win but decided against making the bet!

Tuesday January 18th

What a strange day again. Sun shining and had a lovely walk through City centre and the Barbican and Hoe. It started off with my post coming. One letter from my local MP who was passing a letter he had back from Tim Loughton MP who is the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families. Having heard of my hunger strike last year he wanted to write regarding my problems with Cafcass. He recognises that it is an upsetting situation for me! No shit Sherlock. Would that be the situation with the local Cafcass worker being a lying bitch or the situation that my wife was coerced by Cafcass and Nash & Co her solicitors! Or maybe the fact that in August I was told one thing and then 10 minutes later told something completely different. Or maybe the situation that my children have been refused access to their father and my yougest daughter missed her presents for her third birthday and that both girls have their Christmas presents still in my bedroom waiting for them to see me, as last year's present s were mysteriously re-labelled from love from Daddy or Nanny to love from Mummy! Or maybe the situation that Dawn Bishop of Cafcass made a false and inaccurate report and then could not be bothered to turn up for court to defend that piece of fiction! Or perhaps the situation that my ex-wife has been ill on a number of occasions when she should have been in court! Upsetting my arse! It is way past the point of being upsetting!

On a positive note the letter informed me that......

WE RECOGNISE THAT A FATHER'S ROLE IN HIS CHILDREN'S LIFE IS A VERY IMPORTANT ONE. WE BELIEVE THAT CHILDREN BENEFIT FROM A CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP WITH BOTH PARENTS........

He then went on to say....

Mr Oliver will be interested to hear that the family justice system is currently being reviewed....Cafcass ' role in proceedings will also be considered. The review panel will report in 2011.

We live in hope, but I have been saying for months that 2011 is the Year For Change!

I then had a letter from the solicitor handling the divorce and I was informed that as I had not responded to her letter last September she assumed I did not wish any mediation to take place between my ex-wife and myself in relation to financial matters. I then emailed her right away to inform her that as soon as I got her letter last September I phoned her office to CONFIRM THAT I MOST DEFINITELY DID WANT MEDIATION. I was asked by my ex-wife not to seek mediation regarding the finances but after she pulled her stunt (or her legal team did) last August I was more adamant to make sure that I knew where all of the money had gone over the past few years!

Then the day turned into another episode from the Twilight Zone! I did my walking into the City Centre and took my camera out for the first time this year. I stopped for my coffee and then made for the Barbican where I bought a nice jumbo sausage and chips for my lunch. I then walked towards the Hoe and stopped to take a few photos of the clouds then the bright sun and a few ships. As I approached the Hoe by the Lighthouse I remembered the new memorial had just been unveiled so I decided to go and have a look and take a few photos of it. it had been proudly erected outside the Citadel which is home to 29 Commando and is there to show the names of it's company that have been killed inaction since the Second World War.

As I walked toward it a young blonde woman walked past me and although that was not unusual what happened next was. I walked around towards the new memorial and man appeared from nowhere and was clearly watching the woman walking toward the Hoe. he then decided to put his hands in his jeans and then I kind of dismissed the idea of what he was doing and walked on. There is a Gents toilets close by so maybe he was in severe need of them. I went to the memorial and took a few photos and walked back to the cafe on The Hoe to get a cold drink. The man reappeared from behind another memorial closer to the cafe. He then walked to the toilet. I entered the cafe and lost sight of him and then as I came out he was there again walking toward the memorial but turned back and went into the gents toilets yet again. There was something very strange about it all. So after walking around for a few minutes I decided to head back home, but as I got back into the centre of the city I passed by the court and was reminded that recently there had been a rape in Plymouth and so because of the strange behaviour of this man I reported what I saw to the Police.

I had just got home when the phone rung and the police told me that they had arrested a man and wanted my statement. They arrived a few minutes later. It turns out though that the person they arrested was in custody at the time I saw this other person so it would appear that there were a couple of men behaving strangely by the toilets within hours of each other.

Then after the police left I checked my emails to find I had received one from my solicitor regarding the case on Monday and I was informed that I was to have the same Barrister that I had in Exeter towards the end of last year. That is good news as far as I am concerned. Still a bit peeved with it all though to be honest. I was asked to provide a letter from my doctor but I asked my solicitor to let me know what he wanted in the letter as I could not understand why nobody asked for medical proof that I was on a hunger strike throughout the 78 days and yet it now appears that they want evidence that I am eating?????? I don't quite get that to be honest! As it happens has anyone tried to get an appointment with a doctor lately?

This evening MK Dons hosted Argyle in a League One match and the score was 0-3 which lifts Argyle up to 13th place and now three points away from a spot in the play off positions. Still a long way to go but a few wins and panic may be a thing of the past! It was good to know Rory Fallon was back in the Argyle team after a loan spell with Ipswich. Still no Bradley Wright-Phillips though who is suffering an injury along with continued speculation that another side have shown an interest in him.

Monday January 17th

I know the weather has been dreadful for the past week virtually and maybe that has something to do with my feeling pretty crappy lately. I have made the effort to get out even in the rain but there have a been a couple of days that just have not filled me with much energy or desire to do much. There was a thunderstorm forecast for today but that did not materialise, but I did get pretty wet.

Even the TV has been boring today. I ended up watching an old black and white film with John Wayne and Oliver Hardy starring in it. I used to watch Laurel and Hardy when I was much younger and it felt strange watching Hardy in a speaking role without his usual co-star. I kept on thinking he would turn to John Wayne and slap him on the cheeks and say "Well that's another fine mess.......!"

Tonight I cooked chicken curry and even that did not appeal to me very much although I forced myself to eat it all. There was no passion in cooking it and none in eating it either. However both of my parents thoroughly enjoyed it, and my father does not like spicy foods! Not sure how they will both cope in June when they go off to Brazil to spend time with my brother. I know dad has been before a few years ago but mother has never been that adventurous and this will be quite an adventure for her for sure.

This evening I heard my friend Russell Grant talking about this "new Zodiac sign" that seems to have everyone talking and saying that they have always thought and believed they were some sign or other and now they are supposed to be something else. Well thanks to Russell people can sleep again in the knowledge that whatever they believed they were, they still are as this new sign has no bearing on our Zodiac in the slightest form! In actual fact this so called "New Sign!" has been around for thousands of years and nor been part of our Astrological charts! In case you are interested, the constellation responsible for all the hype and concern is called OPHIUCHUS! Oh and apparently it has been around for quite some time but today it is being blamed for an American NFL team, The New Orleans Saints for their recent loss against The Seattle Seahawks! Nothing to do with the Seahawks actually being the better team then obviously! If only Argyle had known this on Saturday!!!!

Sunday January 16th

What a strange day. I slept fairly well but woke up with a headache. Not the thumping kind, but the kind where you feel a strain on your eyes and ache over the top of one or both as you try to read anything. Consequently I did not move very far today. I got up for my dinner and tea and watched a lot of TV but at some stages I did so with only one eye open! So no walk to the coffee shop or around the City centre today.

Some of the headache revolves around recent activity. You know when you get an idea and you share it and then all of a sudden it spirals into something big but is heading in a direction you didn't anticipate? Well that is how I feel today. I should be happy but there is something inside that is niggling at me and I don't like it. It feels so bad that right now I may have to walk away from it all.

This afternoon I listened to the Spurs v Man Utd match on radio and although it is hard for an Arsenal fan to admit, I found myself cheering Spurs on. In the end it was a 0-0 draw and to be honest even I would have to say that Spurs deserved a win out of it, especially after Manchester United's Rafael got himself sent off for a second bookable offence!

Saturday January 15th

I had a mixed day today. Walked into the City centre just for my coffee and then on to the match at Home Park where Argyle were at home to Oldham. The match was good and bad in places. To be honest Argyle were on top of things for a good spell and came close a couple of times with one strike hitting the crossbar and then going into the away crowd. Unfortunately when half time came the team left their spirit in the dressing room. Oldham scored twice in the second half and although there were a number of outrageous decisions by the ref and his assistants, (dressed in bright pink tops!) there never looked like a goal would come from anyone from Argyle. The result leaves Argyle in 17th spot in the table and although perilously close to the relegation spots, just a couple of good results would see them rise in to the Play-Off spots so all is not lost just yet. If the club can solve it's money problems and the players more settled then things could dramatically alter for the team and fans!

In the Premier League Arsenal were away to the dishevelled West Ham. This morning there was talk of their manager Avram Grant being replaced by Martin O'Neill and that must have unsettled the already woeful Hammers. With the final score West Ham 0 - 3 Arsenal it must mean worse news for the East London side and for Grant himself although no official news has come yet!

Facebook's problems yesterday seem to have resolved themselves and things look like they are back to normal. Wait back to normal on Facebook usually means trouble at some point.

The National Lottery this evening brought a Rollover Jackpot of over £6 million and that was not won so that means a Double Rollover on Wednesday so extra lines for me on Wednesday. Unusually I did the Thunderball today and as it happens I won £10 so not bad really!

Friday January 14th

Oh dear. Age is catching up with me at long last. I decided to have an eye test today after I was walking through Plymouth a few weeks ago and my eyes went blurry. This is the first eye test since I left school and I have prided myself in the fact that my eye sight has been perfect. I am the only member of my family not to wear glasses apart from my children. As it happens I do now need glasses and apparently I have cataracts on both eyes although they do not pose any problems and may have been there since birth. Bit of a shock but to be honest with the writing I do and the time I spend on my laptop it is not that big a shock! Luckily I did not have to spend too much. In actual fact due to the health history of my parents I not only had a free test, but I also got vouchers for my lenses and frames. What should have cost £225 in total actually only cost £70. What was surprising was that my mother also went for new glasses today and although her cost less she ended up having to pay more than I did! She upset me a bit by saying my glasses made me look "OLDER!" The woman who filled out my forms and ordered my lenses actually said they suited me but then again she is paid to say that!

I thought I would give you advance notice of the BBC Panorama Programme that is due to be aired this coming Monday. So if you are interested in the topic of Britain's Missing Dads this may be worth watching. I know why a few of us are missing and I wonder if the subject of Parental Alienation or Family Law injustice is covered at all in the programme! If not I feel a follow up programme some time! Click on the link below for the BBC Panorama Homepage.

Today my enjoyment of Facebook has been short and sporadic thanks to a bug in their system. For long periods of time people have been unable to access their accounts. I guess that no matter how far we have come in technology, Facebook will never be able to operate perfectly! They get enough money so you would think they would be able to employ enough people who could actually keep it working.

Thursday January 13th

Mixed day today. As far as Untied Parents Society (that was the name I gave to the original group I set up on Facebook last year) goes, things are moving fast and furious and we have a good team already in place raring to go and help fellow parents. Now for the paperwork and the real work that goes with it. The forum is up and running but still in it's infancy. The more people joining the more worthwhile it will become.

It is my dad's birthday today and he is 86! Mixed with the news that there are deadly floods in Brazil and we have family there we were constantly on the phone most of the day. Not only were my parents talking to my brother and his family but a number of concerned friends were calling the home to find out if they were all OK over there.

Wednesday January 12th

Good news for Argyle today. First of all they have managed to survive a winding up order and paid off much of their debt. Still a way to go but maybe this will be enough to see the team survive until the end of the season at least. Secondly, Bradley Wright-Phillips will not now be heading to Reading after all and for the time being remains an Argyle player. Given the result last night that is a very good thing. In the Carling Cup (League Cup) Arsenal are away to Ipswich tonight and I am hoping for a good result.

It is Lottery night too and I have got my fingers crossed already for a small win at least!

I am currently researching into the setting up of a charity for families who are caught up in the unfair system and I hope to be able to sort something out in the next few days and with those already interested who I think would make a great team as they come from different backgrounds and circumstances if we can get this up and running then the only people with anything to fear would be those who are responsible for keeping children from parents.

Tuesday January 11th

Oh dear! Not a good day on the football pitch for Argyle. This evening they were away to Huddersfield and sitting comfortably on a 0-2 lead. Then Nelson was shown a red card and things just went down hill from there. In fact they ended up 3-2 losers and down to nine men yet again. Only Argyle could grab a defeat from the jaws of victory. Just goes to show that it may help finances if you get rid of all your good players but not much help when you are struggling mid table and want to get back into the Championship League! Hopefully this will be the end of the dark days and the team can soon turn the trouble around. Home match v Oldham on Saturday, seems ages since I went to a match.

Plymouth was very quiet again today. The weather was fine for most of the time I was out about but it did become a bit more gloomier as the day went on. The forecast for the next couple of days at least does not promise things getting much better. In fact heavy rain is promised most of the time.

The movement for fairness within the family law system is growing daily. The Light Up The Sky group on Facebook for instance has been reborn and now has a membership of over 2250. It is hoped that more regular lighting up events will take place throughout the year, with Mother's Day and Father's Day being high priorities and also hopefully a meet up of parents not only similar to my own case involving the corruption of cafcass but also dealing with social services and other agencies. If you thought I had been quiet for a few days  you might be right but if you think I was going to go away quietly you would be very wrong! I think if you work for the likes of cafcass the phrase you would be looking for is "CALM BEFORE THE STORM!"

Monday January 10th

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday the fair rides and ice rink were still in place in the City. Today the ice rink is surrounded by metal barriers and the fair rides have vanished. The weather today has had a dramatic twist too. From bright and sunny to dark and wet. Not just wet, torrential! I walked from the house to the bottom of the road and was wet by the time I arrived at the coffee shop! Not sure if it was the weather or the fact that it was the start of the first full week back to school here but Plymouth was empty again.

There was an FA Cup fixture tonight and a shock result brings non-league side Crawley into the 4th Round after beating Championship side Derby 2-1.

Sunday January 9th

More FA Cup matches today with Manchester United hosting Liverpool and running out 1-0 winners following a debatable penalty very early on in the match and the sending off a bit later of Liverpool's Steven Gerrard. Match live on ITV was fairly watchable even for me! The draw for round 4 was made after the afternoon matches and Arsenal, if they get past Leeds in the replay at Elland Road have another home draw against Huddersfield.

Had a short walk through the City centre again which was rather quiet for the first time since Christmas. Obviously all the bargains have been snapped up! it was fairly easy to walk through most of the shops.

I have now watched all of season one and two of CSI so need to find season three now! Trip to HMV on Monday I think.

Hmmmmm! I wonder if someone else has read this!!

Saturday January 8th

FA Cup 3rd Round Day! The early afternoon kick off was Arsenal's home match with Leeds which turned out to be a 1-1 draw. A first penalty by Leeds could have seen Arsenal go out in the third round for the first time in years but fortunately Fabregas came off the bench and scored the important equaliser also from the penalty spot which takes the match to a replay at Elland Road.

In League One the postponed game between Bournemouth and Argyle took place with the home team running out 3-0 winners. It was a game noticeable by the absence of Argyle's star striker Bradley Wright- Phillips and it is almost certain he will be sold off to Reading very soon as part of the drive to rescue Argyle from it's debt problems. Good for finances but bad for football!

I did not venture too far from home today. After watching the football, I walked into the City to go to the bank, grab a coffee and also purchase my lottery ticket for tonight's draw.

Friday January 7th

Today I am overjoyed with the news that PEOPLE POWER has struck it's first blow for 2011. Following a complaint to the BBC along with about 6,000 other people, the current storyline regarding the cot death of one child and then the grieving mother snatching another baby is to be brought to an early end. In my opinion it is good that the taboo subject of infant death is featured in these programmes that millions of people do watch. However such traumatic subjects such as losing a much longed for child should be handled with a bit more respect than the BBC were attempting to portray. As soon as I heard about the storyline I wrote a complaint to the BBC and it is good to know that along with me 1000's of others also found the storyline offensive. Thankfully the BBC, have bowed to public pressure. Just shows that sometimes the public can have a say. So today I see the first tick on my hit-list for 2011. The press also report that the actress portraying the grieving mother come baby-snatcher is to quit the soap among rumours that she herself is extremely unhappy with the way she is portraying this heartbreaking storyline.

Sadly today there comes news that ex-boxer Gary Mason has been killed in a motorbike accident. I have never been a boxing fan but I do remember watching a few of his fights.

There is obviously more jubilant news in the media following on from England beating Australia 3-1 in the Ashes. Also in the sporting news today there is growing speculation that Arsenal's arch London rivals Spurs may be close to securing David Beckham on a loan deal from American side LA Galaxy.
