Saturday February 26th

So Argyle were deducted 10 points by the Football League for going into administration and thus placing them firmly at the bottom of the table. It was good to see the passion there still on and off the pitch. helped with it being Armed Forces Day and the sight of the Royal Marines abseiling from the roof before kick off and then Pilgrim Pete also abseiling to loud cheers and then running on to the pitch with the match ball. Rory Fallon opened the scoring on what be a tough time for the New Zealander. The scores were level when Zubar put into his own goal. To make matters worse it was probably Colchester's only attempt at goal in the first half that resulted in the goal. The match heated up when Argyle had Clarke sent off with a straight red and although you would expect the 10 men side to concentrate on defending it was Argyle that carried on with the attack and it paid off when the referee awarded a penalty and Bolasie put it away. Final score Argyle 2-1 Colchester. 

The sporting good news continued in the evening when England took on France in the Rugby Union Six Nations. England running out 17-9 winners and taking one step further to winning the Grand Slam and Six Nations trophy. The Irish are up next in two weeks time.

If Arsenal beat Birmingham in the League Cup Final at Wembley tomorrow this will be one of the best weekends I have had for along time. 

Wednesday February 23rd

As soon as I woke up I started work on my parent's front room. Where I had filled in the holes and cracks that you would expect from a house as old as theirs, I sanded the excess filler away and prepared the wall for painting. Working from left to right I spent all day up and down the ladder putting on what now looks like a nice coat of biscuit crunch. I am quite pleased with how it looks. Next job will be putting a mint coloured paint on the remaining walls and then putting a brilliant white finish on the ceiling. I have given myself two weeks to complete. 

As I chose to work right through today and not take any breaks it was fairly late in the afternoon when I eventually stopped and went for a walk. There was a lot of traffic around, a lot more than usual. After getting my lottery and a few things from Sainsbury's I headed home and then discovered whilst watching the local news that a little further into the City centre there is an unexploded bomb. Hitler definitely had it in for Plymouth as this is the second unexploded bomb to be discovered in Plymouth in the past few months. He obviously got his aircraft to concentrate closer to the sea front rather than further inland. We live in hope that they find one close to the crapcass office but given the fact they are little Hitlers themselves it is probably too well protected! 

Talking of crapcass, I had a letter from Elaine Hay today in regards to my complaint against the lying corrupt Dawn Bishop. It would appear that the points I raised do not warrant any further investigation but if I am not happy with their decision I can take my complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman. Guess what I did as soon as I got the letter this morning and before I started painting!!! I made contact with my local MP who was very sympathetic to  my cause when I met him during my hunger strike last year. We are arranging another meeting to discuss this "Terrible state of affairs!" Too fucking right I am taking this to the Ombudsman!

The truth will come out no matter how much local crapcass want to whitewash it and cover it up! I will expose that woman for the lying twat that she is!

In the Premier League tonight (while Manchester United had a Champions League tie away to Marseilles and managed a 0-0 draw) Arsenal played Stoke and with a 1-0 win moved to within a single point of the league leaders. How strange that my first team are thriving while my adopted team are facing extinction or at the very least relegation into the bottom league. 

Tuesday February 22nd

Well the stripping of the wall along the front wall is all done and the cracks and holes have been filled. First thing tomorrow I am sanding the wall and then later the paint will be applied. NOT MAGNOLIA! I met my parents this afternoon and got them to choose the colour they wanted with some gentle persuasion away from the magnolia tins! They settled for biscuit crunch! As long as I can start on that tomorrow they have a few days to work out what colour they want for the other three walls! 

I was saddened today to hear of the devastating earthquake that has hit New Zealand. Whilst I don't know anyone personally within the area of where the main quake took place I do know of people in New Zealand, both via Facebook and personally and my thoughts go out to all who have been affected. Sadly as I write this I understand that early reports of 65 deaths have now been updated and that currently the death toll stands at 75 and the fear is that the total may rise even further. As a mark of respect my Facebook profile has today carried a photo of the New Zealand flag. 

The unrest in Libya goes on with a defiant Colonel Gadaffi not only refusing to step down but threatening to quash those who oppose him. Meanwhile 10,000's of foreigners are trying to leave the country and reports suggest that over 500 people have been killed by government forces although this is not confirmed.

The crisis at Argyle off the pitch spilled over to the players tonight as they played away at league leaders Brighton. Brighton eventually won 4-0 and with the 10 points deduction imposed yesterday by the Football League for Argyle proposing to go into administration it means they are well cemented to bottom spot and any chance of survival will probably now involve a miracle both financially and teamwise. There is of course talk of possible buyers but there has been talk for sometime and to be honest as in my own personal life I am sick of people talking and not delivering. Whilst the players have not been paid for a few months now it has to be said that they have not let the side down and still have some passion left. Just a shame the same cannot be said for the board who would be advised to stay away from ground for a while. Not that this would a problem for the Japanese director Yasuaki Kagami who has never attended a game anyway! I cannot help but wonder how alarm bells did not begin ringing a long time ago with everyone. 

Monday February 21st

In the political world the events in Tunisia and Egypt recently are now being mirrored in Bahrain and Libya with protests for democracy becoming more frequent and visible. In Libya some protests have led to deaths of protesters as members of the armed forces there fired upon them. In Bahrain the protests have meant that the testing of Formula One and the opening race of the season have been cancelled. Like I said many times before, this is THE YEAR FOR CHANGE! It won't take long before we start seeing these protests happening in Western countries and I have a feeling that the UK will not escape. It is time the people took control. 

It's a very sad day today as it is now certain that despite empty promises from the board at Argyle the money from the Japanese investor has not materialised and in fact all he managed to achieve is to run the club into the ground. Argyle will officially be put into administration and as a result of that it will mean not only do the financial problems threaten to kill the club off but the Football League will deduct 10 points from Argyle which will place them solidly at the bottom of the league table and most certainly condemn them to relegation in May. 

Sunday February 20th

After the high of watching Arsenal beat Barcelona in the Champions League 1st leg earlier in the week, you can imagine how disappointed I was to see them fight out a 1-1 away to Leyton Orient in the FA Cup. To be fair Arsene Wenger did put out a fairly second string side and it did not surprise me that this match will now go to a replay. There is however a massive prize at stake to the winners of this match as they have a Quarter-Final away to Manchester United. Now that will be the tie of the round! No doubt, given the fact that Manchester United have had most, if not all of their FA Cup matches shown live on ITV this year it will be nice to see another Arsenal match live on TV again. Not that I am suggesting that the TV companies are biased in anyway towards Manchester United you understand! 

For the majority of the afternoon and evening I have been fighting the dreaded woodchip paper that my parents have on their wall in the front room. Actually whoever decorated the house before they moved in put the blasted stuff everywhere, including the ceiling! I should be finished with the stripping of it in the next day or two and then ready to paint one wall and re-paper the others. After that I shall tackle the kitchen and then each of the other rooms until they are all brought up to date in colour etc and more importantly without woodchip! 

Saturday February 19th

It is the latest round of the FA Cup this weekend. After Arsenal's superb result in the Champions League this week against Barcelona, they are away against Leyton Orient tomorrow. Today though it was Chelsea against Everton and also the lowest team still left in this year's competition, Crawley were away to Manchester. Chelsea and Everton went to penalties and Everton knocked out the holders. Manchester United took on the lowly Crawley and to be fair Crawley put up a great fight against the Premier League leaders. Manchester United ended up winning 1-0 but it could have been 1-1 by the end of full time. 

Argyle did not have a game today as they were knocked out way back at the beginning of January. 

The weather was so much better today than it has been for the past couple of days and despite feeling a but run down lately I decided to make the most of it this afternoon and went out for a walk. 

After the two small wins on the lottery I was disappointed that tonight I didn't even get a number come up! Although I do have the lottery 5 game to pin my hopes on.

Thursday February 17th

My parents have been complaining about the state of their place for a while now and to be fair the place has not been decorated since they moved in there quite a number of years ago. It certainly has not helped that there is a leak in the ceiling and that this has had an effect on some of the walls. I have promised to do some decorating for them and this week they have been emptying the front room of the many pictures and ornaments, dvds and cds, books and videos that they have accumulated over the years! For my mother's part the majority of these would be Daniel O'Donnell or Salvation Army related!! While they were both out today I attempted to pull the wallpaper off the wall and treat the area that has damage on it. To my amazement the paper just peeled away very easily in my hand! So easy in fact that the area could be treated in minutes and all I need to do is wait until it has had time to dry to see if it is likely to come back in the near future. I did say I would start working on it at the weekend but as the paper appears to come off very easily I shall start it in earnest tomorrow and possibly even get around to painting part of the room by the weekend. 

I don't know exactly what triggered it off but as I was pulling the strip of paper away from the wall I suddenly thought that somewhere in the distant past I remembered seeing a story on the news about the government making dramatic changes to the family law court system and making it more open and transparent! When I finished pulling the paper off the wall I started trawling through the BBC news site and I knew I was not losing the plot when I found the article linked below. So the next question is.....Where is this openness? When will the family law court system finally become open and fairer to all instead of the unjust and corrupt monster that it is?

I was given a link today that shows a number of parents placing teddy bears outside Downing Street in protest against the system we have here. Members of The United Parents Society were among others who attended the event in London as we campaign for the abolition of Cafcass and for a review in the practice of Social Services forced adoptions. These people cannot be allowed to destroy the human rights of children and parents. They must not be allowed to be able to lie and fabricate evidence and not be held accountable! There is a saying "For every action there is a reaction!" I hope those who are responsible for these organisations soon wake up and stop these acts of inhumanity. It is bad enough for families when there becomes no other alternative other than separation and divorce without these corrupt people meddling and making things far worse. A change is coming!

The movement for change that swept through Tunisia and more recently Egypt has now moved across the Middle East and even more countries are seeing open protests for pro-democracy. This really is the YEAR FOR CHANGE!

Tonight it was Champions League for Arsenal who took on the much fancied Barcelona in the home leg tie. Arsenal came back from 0-1 lead to Barcelona to win the home leg 2-1 thanks to two wonderful goals by Van Persie and then substitute Arshavin, who I have berated for much of this season for being the Gooners worst player. Maybe if Arsenal go on to win the away leg I might be able to change my opinion of him!

It is also midweek lottery night and as I write this I am waiting for tonight's results! Ever hopeful!

Tuesday February 15th

So let me get this straight.....I have waited over TWO YEARS now for our case to get to court, despite being promised by EVERYONE that it would be dealt with soon, and that also includes my ex-wife who told me it was her "legal team pressuring her into dragging this out and that she didn't want it to have come this far and it was all a stupid mistake that she wished she had not made!" That's the same person who failed to turn up for a load of the hearings and then at the last one claimed (so I am told) "I cannot let him see me I am scared!" Yeah right scared of what exactly in a court? Scared of being shown up for being a LIAR!

Then in Exeter I am told by the judge there that he did not want hear this case as it was a PLYMOUTH CASE and should not be in EXETER and he was not the right judge for it! (Let's not forget this is the judge that aimed a shotgun at a Father 4 Justice campaigner who climbed on to his roof, although he claimed he thought it was an injured bird but who also claimed it could have been a burglar!) LIAR!

Finally not forgetting the lying twat from crapcass with her false reports and fabrications who cannot get her facts right so has to either make them up or put pressure on other people to make up statements! LIAR!

Now I get a letter saying that the "FINAL HEARING" (yeah like I was not told this before!) is to be in EXETER on MAY 23rd! And people wonder why I am angry with this fucking system. Someone once said that "The law is an ass!" They got it totally wrong. The fact is that THE LAW IS A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS!

Well I am extremely flattered today to find out that the organisation I am campaigning to get abolished has been actively promoting The United Parents Society! Thank you so much, it is very kind of you! Just goes to show that Dawn Bishop sees things that are not there but when there is something right underneath their own noses (or sign to be exact) I fail to see it! I had to email them from my phone as two workers were standing outside smoking and watching me take a photo on my mobile phone and then sending it to their office as an email attachment! Ahhhhhhh the joys of modern technology! I was laughing all the way home at their gross stupidity!

Although many connected with United Parents Society were lighting lanterns for Valentine's Day I just could not see a connection myself. However, after the events of the past 24 hours and seeing how stupid Cafcass were I decided to join my fellow campaigners and light a lantern that I had left over from last week's 2nd anniversary of when the girls were taken by their lying mother.

So just over 24 hours from sticking the poster on the Cafcass door I walked over to Central Park and lit the lantern in the same place the girls and I had lit one for their sister who was born sleeping. At first it proved a little hard to light but then all of a sudden it took and flew over the wire fencing of the softball pitch and promptly fell back to the ground again. I thought it would fizzle out and I would return home a bit pissed off with the lanterns I had bought lately. However, after a minuter and by the time I had walked around the fence it suddenly took off and flew over the hedge. As it lifted up a piece of the "wick" flew off and scorched the side and I thought it would just burst into flames and come crashing to the ground, but it started to climb up into the night sky and kept going. Again like last week the wind carried it over towards Plymouth Argyle's stadium and in the direction of where the girls were last known to be living as if to seek them out again! 

Sunday February 13th

The weather today was dreadful again. Following on from a few days in the week and despite a gorgeous day yesterday the rain absolutely poured down. However, after watching the Six Nations match between Ireland and France, which was a very closely fought contest, I decided to go for a walk anyway and dug out my waterproof trousers from the bottom of the clothes pile that I really should get around to ironing. 

I know it is Valentine's Day tomorrow and there are many parents who will be lighting lanterns for their children just we all did on Christmas and New Years Eves. Many will be placing teddy bears in outside offices of Cafcass, Social Services and other buildings. So for my part I printing off the logo of The United Parents Society, along with a brief outline of our campaign and walked around to the Plymouth office of Crapcass and stuck it to their door so that they have a message from the parents when they arrive in the morning! Now I know that Valentine's Day cards and gifts are usually sent anonymously, but just so though is no doubt whatsoever, I DID IT and it is just the beginning of more things to come! I told you before that this was The Year For Change and as we all know, CHANGE has already begun throughout the world. 

Saturday February 12th

Despite for the past few days feeling like I have been hit by a truck and deciding not to do too much, I felt a bit chirpier today and with the sun making an appearance I thought I might take a walk into the City centre before heading off to Argyle. I went for my usual coffee and then bought my Lottery ticket for tonight. Given that a new game has been introduced after Dream Number has been retired, I have no idea what it entails other than the normal Saturday and Wednesday draws but i am sure if I win I won't complain. 

Ahead of the Argyle game against Tranmere, there was a protest of a 100 or more die hard Argyle supporters which started in the City centre by the Sundial and then proceeded up to the stadium. As I got to the ground this afternoon, I sensed something in the atmosphere which had been missing from the ground for a while. The atmosphere outside matched the one inside  for quite a while. 

Unfortunately it seemed not to spread on to the pitch and although the players did their bit Argyle lost 1-3, although there were one or two very dubious decisions made by the referee! Yet again Argyle played well but lost despite deserving at least a draw. 

In the Premier League, Arsenal had a 2-0 win over Wolves which keeps them in touch with the current leaders Manchester United. Due to the fact that I was Argyle I missed the Six Nations England match against Italy but was pleased to see a heavy 59-13 win for England which keeps them at the top of the table and unless France beat Ireland with a massive score tomorrow, England will remain in control of the Six Nations. 

Friday February 11th

Only news worthy of reporting today is the news that in Egypt, President Mubarak has decided to resign after the recent campaign protests of the Egyptian people. Now I am never the person to say "I told you so!" BUT I seem to remember that for a while now I have been saying that 2011 is going to be "THE YEAR FOR CHANGE!" Egypt is just the beginning. 

Personally I did not do much today apart from have a brief walk to get my Euromillions ticket for tonight and a coffee from the usual place.

Thursday February 10th

Did not do very much at all today. I got up and dressed, washed my hair and shaved but that was as far as I got. The weather today was just plain miserable and that obviously reflected my mood. So it was a day of sitting around drinking coffee, listening to some music and watching TV. I did not even run down to the corner shop to cash in my prize winning (£2!) Lottery ticket from last night. 

The bad weather also caused a tragic air crash in Cork, which is an airport I have travelled to quite a lot. An aircraft from Belfast crashed in fog while attempting to land at Cork airport and killed 6 of the 12 people on board. One of those who died was a relative of the Irish President. 

I have never driven and to be honest cars do not interest me in the slightest, but I do love watching the Formula One Grand Prix. With the new season starting in a few weeks I see today that McLaren have started testing their new car in Spain. Lewis Hamilton tested for McLaren today and Jenson Button will take over testing on Friday. 

Wednesday February 9th

I think that this is a very apt song for tonight by Paul Simon called Father and Daughter, used in the animated film of the cartoon series The Wild Thornberrys.

So it was two years ago today that I last saw my youngest daughter before the lengthy and as yet unsettled court case! My ex wife's last words to me as she walked out of my parent's home was "I would be better off driving the car into a lampost and doing you all a favour!" A few days later I was arrested for breaching a non-molestation order that I never received after trying to make contact with her and getting very upset and sick thinking that was what she had done! Her lies had already been put into action! 

At least now, after two years of this shit, my petition for joint residence has been formally handed in to the court and we now wait for the next hearing. Why it was never put in before is beyond me, but as I have no  idea how this shit system we have in this country works, I never questioned it until after the last hearing! I just want my day in court and to finally be able to show my ex and her solicitors up for the liars they really are. Reading the crapcass website I notice that it clearly states that cafcass "Putting the children first in family courts!" I wonder why the twat we have for our case has never done that and has only had the agenda of protecting her own job and doing her very best to build up a case in favour of my ex. I have waited patiently and not so patiently for two years now and it stops now! I have been relatively quiet as the two year anniversary of this shit was approaching and let people get on thinking I was going away quietly. Sorry that ain't happening, and it's time that those involved woke the fuck up and started smelling the coffee. I am not going to rest now until those who have wronged my children are shown up for the evil scum that they are, and it starts right now! 

Tonight I lit two lanterns and released them into the sky over in Central Park. The first one lit fairly easy enough and took off and headed over towards Home Park the Plymouth Argyle stadium. If they are still living in the same area as they were last year then the lantern was heading towards them! The second one was a bit more troublesome and I actually had to take a spare with me and use it. 

After lighting the lanterns I went back home to watch the International friendly match between Denmark and England. Final score Denmark 1-2 England. I have to admit that after lighting the lantern I was not that bothered about the football! 

It is the final Dream Number Draw tonight and I have won!!!! £2. Unfortunately I did not win the main Lottery draw and my dream of being able to buy Plymouth Argyle and get them out of their financial crisis is put on hold for yet another few days! Saying that, the winding up orders issued in the High Court against the club were dismissed today, which is a good thing. 

Tuesday February 8th

Two years ago this shit started for me. My ex told me that the landlord was coming to beat me up and that I needed to stay at my parents overnight while she could move the things over to the new house. As I could not drive and she could I was to look after the children while she brought the belongings over to the new place. This followed on from the fact (as I later found out) the rent was not being paid!!! I later discovered that my ex had taken my name off the joint bank account and had not paid the rent for a few months. Matters were made worse by the fact that the landlord was a friend of mine. The ex then told everyone I had been taken money from the account without her knowledge, which as can be proved by bank records, was impossible as my cashpoint card had been corrupted for a year before and unless I physically walked into a bank and withdrew the money I could not use the card at any cashpoint! 

It was on February 8th 2009 that I last saw my eldest daughter as her live in father. My eldest spent the evening with me and had tea and then afterwards, my parents drove her back to the house. Since then I have gone through two years of the injustice of the family law court system and listened to complete shit being spewed from my ex and later the cafcass worker who instead of working on the children's behalf, has done nothing but cover up my ex's lies and work for her and her legal team. I did not believe that corruption existed within family law and as I have said countless times before, I really could not understand why some fathers dressed up in silly costumes and did stupid stunts to get noticed. Then I found out the reality of the Family Law system in this country. It is unjust, it is corrupt and it is not there for the benefit of fathers or children, It is there to protect whoever gets to solicitor first following the breakdown of a marriage. After that there is no fairness or equality. Whoever gets in first can tell lie after lie and be protected by the system. Sometimes (like in my own case) the truth does not surface until it is too late and the damage to the children is already done. 

such a shame that the people whose job it is to protect the children, are too busy protecting their own jobs and their own pride to think of them and do what is right. 

Two years down the line and do I still have faith in the British legal system? No fucking way!  Do I have any faith in the services that are there to look after the interests of the children? No fucking way! Do I believe that in the end justice will be done and the children will have the love of both parents again? I would like to, and if I didn't think that sometime in the future this will be resolved in the children's interests rather than two evil bitches and a bunch of lying solicitors, then I like many other parents may as well just walk away and die. 

So what is happening now? Well maybe those who read this that are doing so to hold it against me would like to comment and let the world know because right now I don't have a fucking clue! I just have the empty promises and lies of my ex to think about. She wants this resolved so badly! And I should not blame her for all this! Yeah right, it was not me that got the court involved in the first place was it? So yes I do blame her! 

One day my children will know what a liar their mother is and what a liar the person supposed to have their best interests is. I won't tell them. I won't have to. I am keeping every piece of paper connected with my case and will keep it safe until they are both old enough to read it all for themselves. Then they will be able to read what their mother has said about their father and what that evil lying cafcass worker did. I won't tell them a thing, but I know when the truth is finally out, my children will know exactly what their mother is like and then by her own words and actions they will turn against her and then she will know how much she hurt her children!

Monday February 7th

I have to hand it to BT today. A year ago they called the house to ask if we were interested in the three in one package that includes, Broadband, BT Vision and Phone calls. After accepting their offer nothing happened. Then towards the end of November someone called again and offering the same three in one service, again we waited. Given the fact that just before Christmas there was major problems with weather affecting deliveries we did not think too much that something was wrong with the order and that the equipment would be delivered once the weather picked up! When it had still not arrived two weeks ago, I sent an email on behalf of my dad to BT complaints. We were called last week by the complaints department who told us that nobody had placed an order on their system but that they would do so now. Sure enough, most of the equipment arrived today as promised. 

I therefore spent an hour setting up the BT Vision box and rearranging the Broadband hub. Apparently on the box the estimated time of set up is 30 minutes! Although there were a few minor problems like having to reset the system three times, it did not take that long from plugging in the wires to the TV actually being in full working order. So now my parents can watch not only BBC One and ITV but MANY other channels too! I even purchased an hdi cable for them so they could see the difference in picture! 

This afternoon I did a printing job for my mum for an event she has in April. I ended up going through the many channels on offer on BT Vision and going through step by step on how to use it. At 23:30 tonight the channel had not moved from BBC ONE! Sometimes I ask myself, "Why do I bother?" 

The weather was mixed today and to start with rain and wind, so when I actually finished setting up the TV and headed into the City to pick up the cable I had ordered I was in my jeans, shirt and jumper, with my jacket on! As soon as I started walking, the sun started coming out from behind the clouds and by the time I had reached the usual coffee place, I was roasting! 

The finacial problems at Argyle may be a step closer to being rectified within the next few days as reports come in that a solution has been found to raise enough capital to keep the going for the short term future at least. So with that in mind, maybe that will settle the players and we might even start seeing the good results and points coming back. Let's hope the atmosphere is better at Home Park from now on.

PLYMOUTH Argyle Supporters Training and Development Trust released the following statement on Sunday evening:

"Plymouth Argyle Supporters Training and Development Trust is pleased to announce that, following an opportunity to invest in Home Park Stadium, the Trust has agreed to provide a short-term mortgage secured on Home Park Stadium.

"These negotiations have been ongoing since January 1 and have now reached a satisfactory outcome.

"The Trustees are pleased to have been able to agree a package which will benefit both parties."

As for the Superbowl, which I stayed up to watch last night. The final result was Pittsburgh Steelers 25-31 Green Bay Packers! As the Green Bay Packers were playing in GREEN I decided to cheer for them. Nice to have a team in green winning a major trophy, even though I don't know the slightest thing about American Football! I still cannot remember seeing too many people using their feet to control the ball! 

Sunday February 6th

A very nice and quiet Sunday today. I made a roast (lamb) for dinner and then just watched TV for most of the day. I was feeling fairly good for most of the day but that was kind of dashed when I saw on the news that Amanda Holden's baby boy was stillborn earlier. Obviously brought the memories of Sara Louise flooding back to me and I had a little cry. My heart goes out to her and her family tonight.

As I write this I am watching the American Superbowl on BBC. I have no idea what is going on to be honest, only that a team wearing green is currently winning. I am having some banter with a few friends on Facebook who are American and winding them up about how Americans call this sport football and as yet I have not seen anyone really kicking the ball. It is a bit like rugby I guess but not that much! 

Saturday February 5th

I was awake fairly early this morning but did not actually do anything until lunchtime when I walked in to get my winnings from last night's Euromillions. 

After the joy of watching England beat Wales in the Six Nations last night, I thought the least that would happen today was even more good news as far as my chosen sides were. In the rugby for obvious reasons if England are not playing I choose to support one of the other home nations. Ireland were away to Italy and to be honest were slightly fortunate to win 11-13, thanks to a last gasp drop goal by Ronan O'Gara in a very tight match. Then it was France v Scotland and unfortunately for Scotland they were outplayed, eventually losing 34-21. 

In the Premier League today there were 41 goals in just 8 games. With Arsenal away to Newcastle, it looked like there would be a whitewash when within the first 10 minutes Arsenal were 0-3 and still had one goal to come before half-time. Shortly after the second half started Diaby was sent off and Newcastle made a fantastic comeback. A few questionable decisions by the referee and his assistant which did not help Arsenal's cause and will prove to be strong talking points but nonetheless will not change the final result of 4-4, which means Arsenal are now 4 points behind Manchester United who lost their unbeaten run away to Wolves to won 2-1. 

Argyle's troubles just deepen as they were beaten 2-0 away to Brentford. The result puts Argyle back in the bottom part of the table and just a few points away from the relegation zone. Hard to believe that a few weeks ago they were within a few points of the play-off spots.

This evening has been a quiet one with me going through some things with my mum and dad on their laptop. Even getting them to use the video camera to talk to my brother and his family over in Brazil. There was us sitting in our front room with jumpers on and there was my brother sitting in his room with just a pair of shorts on! 

Given that I had won a meagre £6.70 on the Euromillions last night I thought maybe my luck would continue tonight and maybe I would win the lottery jackpot! As it turned out I was not even close to the smallest prize! Oh well, there is always next week! 

Friday February 4th

Despite spending the morning in bed after not sleeping very well, the rest of the day was quite productive. I finally talked my dad into replacing his printer ad we set off for Staples to have a look at the new Kodak printers. Although others were very cheap compared to the price of the printer I managed to persuade him that in the long term it was the inks that cost the money and that the Kodak printer offered far better value with the price of ink. So he settled for the Kodak 5250.

Then to my amazement dad started to ask me about laptops, it would seem that my observations about his old tower, which is about 10 years old, had finally got through. I looked at the Toshibas and the HPs among others but narrowed it down to those two brands. In the end I advised him to get the HP, which he did! 

This evening I set up the printer and laptop for him and then I sat and watched Wales v England in the Rugby Union Six Nations opener at the Millennium Stadium. it was a cracking match and England made a fairly comfortable winning start to their campaign with the final score Wales 19-26 England. 

Plymouth Argyle's future is looking very ominous now. The money promised by the majority stakeholder has still not materialised and they are due back in court next week to settle the winding up order made by HM Revenue. It is hoped that other solutions could materialise before the court date as according to Mr Risdale, the money runs out on Tuesday! 

Maybe if I win the lottery tomorrow, as it is a Rollover, I could buy out the club and ensure it's survival. Unfrotunately the Euro Millions tonight did not give me a big enough win! Out of the £24,368,199, I won £6.70! 

Thursday February 3rd

Feeling much better today. At least the ground is not swaying from side to side anymore. I was not going to risk going too far today, but just before lunch mum phoned and asked if I could drop something off to her at the Salvation Army hall. I had to drop a letter off to my solicitor anyway which contained the document from my G.P. I still cannot quite get my head around why the court requires me to prove I am eating when they did  not give a shit when I was on my 78 day hunger strike! It really makes no sense! 

Although I didn't intend staying out for too long, I ended up out for quite a while and actually walked the furthest I had for a few days. Despite it being a fairly mild day with bright sunshine at times, as I walked around to the Hoe from the Barbican a gust of wind hit me full on in the face and took my breath away. 

As it is Chinese New Year between now and the 14th February I had Peking Duck with boiled rice and Special Fried Rice for my dinner this evening. While I was eating, my mother asked if I could make up some promotional tickets for an event that is taking place in April. For this I had to use my dad's computer and printer. My parents have wanted me to do a few things for them on the computer lately, and although I don't mind helping them out I get very frustrated with the computer and printer, which are both about ten years old and in need of upgrading. I ended up spending over an hour trying to print off a sheet of tickets and when I started banging my head on the desk, I think that was the sign for my dad to finally admit that his computer and printer needed to be retired. When they both had to go out to their social that they go to every other Thursday, I walked down to Staples to have a look at what they had down there. I took a few notes of prices and came back home. Later when my parents got back, I spoke to them about replacing the printer and also possibly looking into replacing the computer with either another desktop or maybe a laptop even! That way they could both use it, with a little teaching, in one room and be able to print whatever they liked! We are going to do some more looking around tomorrow.
